As a Product Marketing and Innovation Manager, you will be instrumental in developing and bringing to market new coffee products that resonate with current accounts, attract new customers, and enhance our brand. Your role is pivotal in identifying market opportunities, developing new coffee products and strategies to enhance our market share and brand presence. Your primary responsibility will be to bring new products to market and drive incremental sales. You will blend your expertise in sales, marketing, product management, and project management to spearhead initiatives that will grow revenue in all sales channels. Product Development: Partner with internal stakeholders to innovate and launch new products that align with business objectives. Develop a growth-focused strategy to increase sales in all existing sales channels. Lead the product development, innovation, sales communication, and launch of new coffee products and categories that resonate with customer preferences. Go-to-Market Strategy: Design and implement comprehensive go-to-market strategies to successfully launch new products, collaborating closely with the marketing, sales, and retail teams to ensure market penetration and sales growth. Product Marketing: Analyze and refine product offerings and lines to ensure all products meet brand requirements, quality standards and financial goals. Ensure a cohesive and compelling brand identity across all products. Work closely with the marketing team to develop and implement brand-building activities and product marketing strategies. Cross-Functional Leadership: Serve as a project lead, coordinating between various departments including Marketing, Sales, Coffee, Supply Chain, and Finance as well as external stakeholders and vendors to ensure seamless product development and launch processes. Market Intelligence and Analysis: Continuously analyze market trends and consumer feedback to steer product development and guide positioning. Conduct comprehensive market research and competitive analysis to inform strategic decisions. Use data analytics to measure the effectiveness of sales and marketing strategies, making adjustments as needed to optimize performance. Additional Responsibilities include the following. Identify potential product opportunities and partnerships that align with the brand Evaluate and recommend appropriate actions to remove lower performing products from assortments Ensure company and vendor deadlines are met through timely communication and requisite information gathering Maintain and share information on key competitors products, online, and direct marketing channels Other duties as assigned EDUCATION: Bachelors degree in business administration, Marketing, or a related field. RELATED EXPERIENCE: 6+ years marketing experience in CPG or food & beverage with experience in product marketing; ideal candidates will have coffee industry expertise Experience with product development and partnering with R&D Project Management experience working day-to-day to manage project timelines, budget, and cross functional groups Proven track record of leading product development and marketing strategies that have driven growth and brand recognition PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Ability to work on the computer most of the day. Ability to sit for most of the day. Weekly day/schedule range: Monday to Friday; 8-hour shift. Primarily on-site with occasional remote work possible
