Opportunity Information
Sansum Clinic is seeking a passionate and collaborative Physician Assistant to join our Endocrinology team. This is a full‑time opportunity supporting an established, well‑respected practice with a strong patient base.
Key Responsibilities
Provide outpatient endocrine care, including chronic disease management
Manage Type I & Type II diabetes and other endocrine‑related conditions
Deliver follow‑up visits, urgent add‑on visits, and work within a care‑team pod model
Collaborate closely with physicians, RNs, diabetes educators, and clinical support staff
Provide patient education on diet, exercise, medications, and long‑term disease management
Participate in administrative duties (approximately 10% of workload)
Position Details
Full‑time position (36 patient‑care hours per week)
Monday‑Friday, daytime schedule
Outpatient only (no hospital responsibilities)
No call requirement
Patient volume: 12‑16 patients per day
Join a collaborative, multidisciplinary care team
Salary
2‑year guarantee
$130,000 - 180,000 annually
Requirements
PA with directly related experience in Endocrinology
Excellent skill set in Endocrinology
Interested in following chronic conditions over time
PA certified
DEA certificate and/or California furnishing license
Eligible to work in the United States
CA licensure or ability to obtain CA licensure
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
