Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant Location: Portland, OR Agency: Concentric Healthcare Staffing Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Shift Information: 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Job Title Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) - Skilled/LTC Location Portland, OR Schedule / Job Type Contract | Days | Onsite Key Responsibilities Assist in implementing individualized therapy plans designed by the supervising Occupational Therapist. Provide direct patient care, including therapeutic exercises, activities, and treatments. Monitor patient progress and communicate feedback to the supervising Occupational Therapist. Educate patients and their families on therapeutic activities, techniques, and care instructions. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure coordinated care and optimal patient outcomes. Document patient progress and treatment interventions, modifying plans as necessary under Occupational Therapist guidance. Required Qualifications Associate's Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program. Current Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) license in the state of Oregon. Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment. Preferred Experience / Skills Experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care (LTC) setting is a plus. New graduates are welcome to apply.
