Data Engineer/Developer

Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines supporting enterprise data warehouse initiativesSupport migration and integration efforts between Oracle-based systems and SnowflakeBuild and optimize data models for reporting, analytics, and regulatory needsWork closely with finance and operations teams to support data flows from back-office booking systems (OVS) into subledger platformsIntegrate and support Financial Accounting Hub (FAH) data processing and downstream reportingEnsure data quality, integrity, and consistency across multiple systems and platformsCollaborate with cross-functional teams including Technology, Operations, Finance, and RiskContribute to data governance, documentation, and best practices across the data lifecycleAssist with performance tuning, troubleshooting, and system optimizationRequired Qualifications5+ years of experience in Data Engineering or Data DevelopmentStrong experience with Snowflake and Oracle databasesHands-on experience building and maintaining data warehousesProficiency in SQL and at least one programming language (Python preferred)Experience working with financial systems, particularly subledger or accounting data flowsFamiliarity with large-scale data environments handling high transaction volumesStrong understanding of ETL/ELT processes and data modeling conceptsExcellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environmentPreferred QualificationsExperience with Financial Accounting Hub (FAH) or similar finance platformsExposure to back-office or booking systems (e.g., OVS)Experience with cloud platforms (Azure preferred)Knowledge of data governance, regulatory reporting, or compliance frameworks within financial servicesFamiliarity with Agile/DevOps environments
