As a Technical Support Engineer embedded with Volvo Trucks in Greensboro, NC, you'll be the go-to expert for resolving product issues affecting Class 8 powertrain, chassis, and electronic systems—directly supporting dealers, service teams, and field stakeholders across North America.What You'll Do:Diagnose complex product issues using advanced data acquisition and analysis toolsProvide expert support to dealers and markets for Volvo and Mack trucksConduct root cause analysis (RCA) and implement containment actionsDeliver technical solutions aligned with NA workshop repair practicesTravel as needed to support market-critical customer concernsCollaborate across engineering, quality, and service support functionsWhat You Bring:8+ years of relevant experience in technical support or heavy vehicle systemsExpertise in powertrain, chassis, and vehicle electronicsDeep knowledge of Volvo and Mack diagnostic platforms and service toolsStrong foundation in mechanical/electrical systems engineeringProficiency in CANalyzer, Tech Tool, JPRO, and similar diagnostic toolsBachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent experience)Ability to communicate clearly with field teams and translate data into actionWhy Netgroup?We're a consultant-first engineering firm built for long-term partnerships—not short-term gigs.
