The developer will design, develop, and maintain web applications using Java and AEM, including building components, templates, and workflows within the AEM framework. Daily responsibilities include translating business requirements into technical solutions, integrating AEM with backend services and APIs, and ensuring performance, scalability, and security of implemented features. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams such as UX, QA, and project management, participating in code reviews, and contributing to technical documentation and best practices. The developer will also troubleshoot issues, perform enhancements, and support ongoing optimization of digital experiences.Qualifications Strong proficiency in Java development, including object-oriented programming and enterprise application design.Hands-on experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), including components, templates, workflows, and content management.Solid understanding of web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and RESTful APIs for integrating AEM with backend services.Experience with version control tools (e.g., Git) and build/deployment processes in modern development environments.Familiarity with software development methodologies, unit testing, and debugging practices.Ability to gather requirements, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and translate business needs into technical solutions.Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively in an on-site, team-based setting.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.Experience in healthcare, life sciences, or regulated IT environments is a plus.Excellent written and verbal communication skills and commitment to inclusive, professional collaboration.
