Employees will support a portfolio of projects across the region between TX, NM, OK, & CO. This position requires 100% travel availability.Employees in this role perform advanced maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on inverters, trackers, energy storage systems, high voltage systems, control systems and other associated equipment. Individuals understand the solar and energy storage mechanisms, including both electrical and maintenance of inverters, of all solar and energy storage components. This position replaces mechanical and electrical components, understands schematics and controls systems and uses appropriate diagnostic tools. The successful candidate will interpret fault reports, maintain power generation reports, service logs in the computer database, and monitor inverter and energy storage systems performance and SCADA systems.Performs regular preventative maintenance and repair on solar and energy storage power generation equipmentCompletes advanced electrical, electronic, and mechanical troubleshootingMaintains all company supplied equipment, facilities, and toolingApplies advanced understanding of the technical and process functions including leadership competenciesServes as a safety champion for the fleetCoaches new technicians on safety, solar and energy storage systemsServes as qualified reliever in the absence of site managementLeads teams in Quality Improvement (QI) projectsProvides oversight to other personnel and acts as a Safety MentorCompletes special projects or complex task assignmentsAbility to meet attendance requirementsPerforms other job-related duties as assignedJob OverviewThe Site Technician will support the Regional Manager or designee to ensure the perfect execution of the PGD processes.
