A company is looking for a Software Engineer DBA.
Key Responsibilities
Contribute to HA Open Source Database solutions utilizing mariadb, postgres, and tidb
Revisit current architecture and recommend improvements or address gaps in designs
Ensure data protection and backups, even in non-production environments
Required Qualifications
Experience running mariadb and postgres in HA settings
Understanding of CI/CD pipeline concepts
Developer experience with Golang and Python or similar programming languages
Some experience with Terraform, Kubernetes, and Infrastructure as Code methodologies
Ability to recover from replication failures and other issues
