Piping Designer and Drafter
Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Piping Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical design and experience with various design software. This role involves creating detailed piping designs and schematics for various projects, ensuring that all designs meet industry standards and client specifications. The Piping Designer will collaborate with engineers and other team members to develop efficient and effective piping systems.
Responsibilities
- Develop detailed piping designs and layouts using CAD software.
- Create and modify schematics for piping systems.
- Collaborate with mechanical engineers to ensure designs meet project requirements.
- Utilize Pro/ENGINEER, Revit, and Creo for design tasks.
- Assemble components and build prototypes as needed.
- Conduct system design reviews to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Utilize Bluebeam for document management and collaboration.
- Draft technical documentation and reports related to piping systems.
Skills
- Proficient in mechanical design principles and practices.
- Experience with Pro/ENGINEER, Revit, Creo, and other relevant design software.
- Strong ability to create detailed schematics and assembly drawings.
- Knowledge of system design concepts related to piping systems.
- Excellent drafting skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot design issues effectively.

Qualifications

- Experience in utilizing premium skills such as NavisWorks and SolidWorks
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $48.00 - $58.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
