Litigation Attorney

I am actively working with a highly reputable national litigation firm, who is looking to hire multiple Litigation Attorney(s) to join its growing group. This is an excellent opportunity to work with sophisticated clients, while benefiting from a collaborative and flexible firm culture.The RoleThis position offers the opportunity to work on a diverse litigation docket alongside experienced trial lawyers, handling matters from inception through resolution. Associates are given direct client exposure and are encouraged to take ownership of their cases.Representative responsibilities include:Defending clients in state and federal court litigationDrafting pleadings, dispositive motions, discovery, and legal memorandaTaking and defending depositionsAppearing at hearings, mediations, and arbitrationsWorking directly with clients, experts, and opposing counselAssisting with trial preparation and appellate matters, as applicableProfileJD from an accredited law school.Active Illinois Bar admission (or ability to waive in).4+ years of litigation experience.Excellent academic credentials and strong drafting skills.The firm is offering:Competitive compensation structure ranging from $140-170kLucrative hours-based bonus paid multiple times per year.
