Data Automation Consultant
Overview
We are looking for an experienced Microsoft Power Platform Data Consultant for our global manufacturing client on a project basis. This contract role will assist with forecast and delivery capacity on a portfolio of active and planned automation initiatives and is fully remote.
Responsibilities
Design, build, and deploy solutions to improve data quality across the close, consolidation, and financial reporting cycles
Utilize Microsoft Power Platform CoE Starter Kit, ALM (solutions, managed/unmanaged) and environment strategy
Create tables using Dataverse and predictive models using AI Builder
Enhance report dashboards using Power BI
Schedule desktop flows using Power Automate
Assist with translating finance business process challenges into technical solutions
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or higher in information technology, computer science, accounting, finance, or other related fields
5+ years of relevant experience delivering automations in a regulated environment
3+ years of experience with Microsoft Power Platforms required
3+ years of prior experience with SQL, Python, and Azure services
Working knowledge of SOX / ITGC controls and building automations that support audit evidence
Strong documentation skills including solution design documents, user guides, and runbooks
Excellent communication skills to interface with senior finance leaders and non-technical process owners
Qualified applicants must reside in the continental U.S.
