Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Embedded Robotics Engineer with strong experience in ROS (Robot Operating System) and modern C++ development. This is a hands-on role requiring direct interaction with robotic systems, including debugging, testing, and optimizing real-world performance.The ideal candidate will have a strong robotics background, experience working with hardware systems, and the ability to develop production-grade software running on Linux environments.Key ResponsibilitiesRobotics Software DevelopmentDesign, develop, and maintain ROS-based applications using C++ and PythonBuild reliable, scalable, and production-ready robotics software systemsWork on localization, navigation, and motion control systemsHands-On Robotics & Hardware InteractionTest and validate code on live robots and hardware systemsDiagnose and resolve issues related to performance, reliability, and system behaviorWork with sensors such as LiDAR, cameras, encoders, and motor controllersImplement and optimize PID control algorithms and motion systemsSystem Design & ArchitectureDesign software architecture and contribute to code and design reviewsDevelop modular, maintainable, and extensible systemsOwn key development components and participate in technical decision-makingCollaboration & Agile ExecutionCollaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, manufacturing, and deployment teamsParticipate in Agile development processes including sprint planning and stand-upsMentor junior engineers and contribute to team growthTesting & DeploymentDevelop and execute test plans for robotics systemsParticipate in field trials and customer deploymentsEnsure adherence to safety standards when working with live robotic equipmentRequired QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field8+ years of relevant experience in embedded systems / robotics / software engineeringStrong hands-on experience with robotics systems (not just firmware-level development)Proven experience in developing and deploying production-grade softwareCore Technical SkillsProgramming & SystemsStrong expertise in Modern C++ (C++11 and beyond)Smart Pointers, Templates, Abstract ClassesProficiency in PythonStrong experience in Linux-based development environmentsRobotics & ROSHands-on experience with ROS (Robot Operating System)Experience with robotics concepts:Localization & navigationMotion control and path planningAutonomous systemsHardware & CommunicationExperience working with:Sensors (LiDAR, cameras, encoders)Motor controllers and robotic actuatorsKnowledge of communication protocols:CAN / CANOpenTCP/IP, Sockets, SPIDevOps & ToolsExperience with Git and version control systemsCI/CD pipelines and testing methodologiesContainerization and deployment strategies
