Diesel Technician

Overview We are seeking a skilled Diesel Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background in diesel engine repair and maintenance. We are willing to train the right candidate with minimal experience. All tools are provided by the shop. Duties - Repair or replace engine components such as fuel systems, emissions systems, and cooling systems - Conduct routine maintenance on diesel engines to ensure proper functionality - Inspect brake systems, steering mechanisms, transmissions, and suspensions - Troubleshoot electrical systems and make necessary repairs - Utilize schematics to assist in diagnosing and repairing diesel engines - Work with hydraulic systems, shocks, struts, and other mechanical components Requirements - 1 to 2 years experience preffered, willing to talk to the correct person with less experience - Ability to work independently and efficiently - General mechanic knowledge - Valid driver's license is a plus Benefits - Paid time off and sick time - Medical, Dental, Vision, and Life insurance at covered fully - Overtime available - Paid holidays Job Type: Full-time Pay: $20.00 - $35.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Benefits: Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Schedule: Day shift Monday to Friday Overtime Experience: Diesel engine repair: 1 year (Preferred) Mechanical knowledge: 1 year (Preferred) Ability to Commute: Lebanon, ME 04027 (Required) Work Location: In person
