This is a company that you can GROW with, ADVANCE with and STAY WITH long-term.Responsibilities:Provide tax compliance, planning, and advisory servicesProactively research existing and proposed tax law to determine impact on clients' financial position; present findings/recommendations to clients as appropriateSupervise up to 10 tax staff; leverage their skills and abilities to effectively and efficiently complete tax engagementsReview workpapers prepared by staff; recommend changes, additional documentation, research, and/or calculations as necessary to comply with applicable tax law and Firm policyGrow client base through new business development activities such as speaking engagements, attending networking events, tradeshows, and industry meetingsRecruit, train, and retain staff using the Firm's formal mentoring program and through informal performance reviews, on-the-job training, and post-engagement debriefingsSkill Set:Requirements:BA or BS in Accounting or related fieldMasters in Taxation preferred8+ years of recent public accounting tax experienceActive CPA license requiredStrong computer skills: proficiency preferred in ProSystem FX, BNA and MS Office
