Integrated Remote Operations Center (iROC) Mining Technical Consultant

For our client, we are seeking a Integrated Remote Operations Center (iroc) Mining Technical Consultant to join the team of a leader in the Energy & Utilities space. This role will lead continuous improvement work focused on process discipline, productivity, and measurable operating gains. You will collaborate with field leadership, support functions, and cross-functional stakeholders to improve accountability, service delivery, and operational consistency. The position offers the opportunity to influence operational scale, customer outcomes, and organizational performance within a Energy & Utilities environment.Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship availableCompensation: $163,863 – $240,975 annuallyResponsibilities Coordinate with Subject Matter Experts on mining automation projects Develop high-quality technical deliverables like reports and presentations Ensure technical content aligns with project requirements and standards Analyze technical information to support project decisions Work independently on assigned work packages while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams Communicate effectively with stakeholders and clients regarding project progress and recommendations Support the continuous improvement of documentation practicesQualifications 5-7 years of experience in mining operations or consulting with a focus on automation and autonomous systems Demonstrated experience with integrated remote operations center (iROC) design and implementation Hands-on experience with SCADA, DCS, and PLC systems is essential Knowledge of production KPIs is necessary for informed decision-making Degree in Mining Engineering or related field required, with preference for Professional Engineer credentialsBenefits Flexible hybrid work environment with 3 days/week in office expected Opportunity for career development within Canada and internationally Dynamic and professional workplace culture Access to a comprehensive remuneration and benefits packageOur client is an equal opportunity employer.
