Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled and motivated Line Cook to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate has a passion for cooking, works well in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in preparing high-quality dishes. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and plating menu items according to recipes and restaurant standards while maintaining a clean and organized work area.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and cook menu items following recipes, portion controls, and presentation guidelinesOperate kitchen equipment safely and efficientlyMaintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, following all health and safety regulationsWork closely with other kitchen staff to ensure timely and quality food serviceFollow proper food storage, labeling, and rotation proceduresAssist in restocking ingredients and supplies as neededHandle food preparation tasks such as chopping, marinating, and grillingMaintain a sense of urgency and attention to detail, especially during peak hoursAssist with kitchen opening and closing duties as assignedQualifications & SkillsPrevious experience as a Line Cook or in a similar kitchen role preferredKnowledge of cooking techniques, food safety, and sanitation practicesAbility to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environmentStrong attention to detail and time management skillsAbility to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbsFlexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidaysBenefits & PerksCompetitive payEmployee discounts on food and beveragesOpportunities for growth and advancementSupportive and team-oriented work environmentFlexible scheduling options
