Job Description: Database Administrator (DBA)Experience: 5–7+ YearsSkills: SQL (Core), Salesforce (Add-on)Role & ResponsibilitiesManage, monitor, and maintain enterprise databases to ensure high availability, performance, and securityPerform database installation, configuration, upgrades, and patching across environmentsHandle backup, recovery, disaster recovery planning, and routine health checksTune complex SQL queries, indexes, and database performance issuesImplement and enforce database security, access controls, and compliance standardsWork closely with application, DevOps, and cloud teams to support deployments and releasesTroubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions with minimal downtimePrepare and maintain database documentation, SOPs, and runbooksSalesforce (Add-On Responsibilities)Support Salesforce data operations, including data loads, exports, and integrationsWork with Salesforce teams on data synchronization between Salesforce and SQL databasesAssist in troubleshooting Salesforce data issues and reporting discrepanciesEnsure data integrity and consistency across Salesforce and backend systemsRequired SkillsStrong hands-on experience in SQL (query optimization, indexing, performance tuning)Experience with relational databases (MySQL / SQL Server / PostgreSQL / Oracle)Expertise in backup, recovery, and database monitoring toolsGood understanding of production support, SLAs, and incident managementAbility to work independently and handle client-facing responsibilitiesGood To Have / Add-On SkillsSalesforce data model understanding and integration experienceExperience with cloud databases (AWS RDS, Azure SQL, GCP Cloud SQL)Knowledge of automation and scripting (Shell / PowerShell / Python)Exposure to DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelinesSoft SkillsStrong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesClear communication with technical and non-technical stakeholdersOwnership mindset and ability to work independently with clients
