PROJECT MANAGER | COMMERCIAL CONSTRUCTION
Job DescriptionA highly respected General Contractor with a strong backlog of work is seeking a PROJECT MANAGER to join their growing team.Projects are already active and this role is tied to ongoing work, stepping into jobs that are already moving.They are looking for someone who can step into active work, take ownership of project execution, and keep teams aligned from preconstruction through closeout.Position OverviewThis team operates with structure. Communication between field and office is aligned, expectations are clear, and projects move the way they should.What You Will Be Working OnGround up commercial constructionOffice and industrial projectsActive builds already underwayProjects typically in the $10M to $50M rangeWhat You BringExperience taking a project from preconstruction through closeoutStrong budget management, cost control, and forecastingAbility to sequence work and keep subcontractors aligned to scheduleExperience handling RFIs, submittals, and change ordersClear communication with owners, architects, and internal teamsComfort working in ground up commercial projects with office and industrial exposureResponsibilitiesManage all phases of construction from preconstruction through closeoutMaintain project budgets, schedules, and cost trackingCoordinate subcontractors, vendors, and internal teamsOversee project documentation including RFIs, submittals, and change ordersEnsure projects remain on schedule and within budgetQualificationsExperience managing ground up commercial projectsExperience managing projects $10M and above5+ years of commercial construction project management experienceProven ability to run projects independentlyStrong understanding of construction processes and sequencingStable work historyOnly candidates with relevant construction experience aligned with the role's project type, scope, and responsibilities will be considered.Preferred Experience / SoftwareProcore, CMiC, Autodesk Build, or similar construction management softwareBluebeamMS Project and/or Primavera P6Experience with healthcare, higher education, government, office, industrial, retail, multifamily, or mixed-use work is a plusEstablished vendor and subcontractor relationships are a plusBilingual English / Spanish is a plusLocation / FlexibilityLocal candidates are preferredStrong relocators with highly relevant GC-side experience will still be consideredCompensation & BenefitsCompetitive compensation aligned with experience, project scope, and current market conditions.Complete benefits package.Lucrative bonus plan.Next StepOur client is ready to hire immediately.Apply now or send your resume and relevant project list and background to terrance.sullivan@gogpac.com for a confidential conversation.All inquiries are kept confidential.
