Welder - Weekly Pay - Start Asap - $25+ An HourThis role performs high-quality welding in a manufacturing environment, working from blueprints, work orders, and engineering instructions to produce precise and reliable products. The welder reads and interprets technical documentation, follows written and verbal directions, and uses MIG welding and related fabrication techniques to meet production and quality standards. Robotic welding experience is helpful and supports continuous improvement in the welding process.ResponsibilitiesRead and interpret blueprints, rework instructions, work orders, and engineering orders to complete welding and fabrication tasks accurately.Produce high-quality welded products that meet established specifications, quality standards, and inspection requirements.Apply MIG welding techniques on steel and other materials as required, ensuring strong, clean, and consistent welds.Use fabrication tools and equipment, including grinders and related machinery, to prepare, finish, and refine welded components.Support robotic welding operations when needed, including setup assistance, part preparation, and quality checks.Communicate effectively with coworkers and leadership to coordinate work, resolve issues, and support continuous improvement across the product line.Maintain excellent attendance and punctuality to support production schedules and individual accountability.Follow proper lifting techniques at all times, including correct hoist usage and requesting assistance when needed, to ensure safe material handling.Keep the work area neat, clean, and organized to support safety, efficiency, and product quality.Wear proper safety gear at all times, including welding helmet, gloves, shields, and steel-toed boots, in accordance with safety requirements.Adopt and maintain a strong "safety first" attitude to help achieve an injury-free workplace.Manage time efficiently, focusing on details while meeting production targets and deadlines.Perform all other welding, fabrication, and related duties as assigned to support the overall manufacturing operation.Essential SkillsMinimum of 2 years of welding experience in a manufacturing or similar environment.Proficiency in MIG welding with the ability to produce clean, structurally sound welds.Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings accurately.Experience working from rework instructions, work orders, and engineering orders.Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality products.Effective verbal communication skills to collaborate with coworkers and leadership.Consistent, reliable attendance and punctuality for all assigned shifts.Ability to follow written and verbal instructions precisely.Understanding and application of safe lifting techniques and hoist usage.Commitment to wearing required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.Ability to maintain a clean and organized work area in a production setting.Additional Skills & QualificationsRobotic welding experience or exposure to robotic welding processes.Experience with steel welding in a production or fabrication environment.Skill in using grinders and other metal finishing tools.Strong time management skills to balance quality, safety, and productivity.Demonstrated focus on continuous improvement and learning within the welding trade.Why Work Here?You will join a stable manufacturing organization that values safety, quality, and teamwork, and offers a comprehensive benefits package to support your well-being and long-term success. The standard schedule runs Monday through Thursday from 4:30 PM to 3:00 AM, providing a consistent evening and overnight shift. Work involves standing for extended periods, handling steel and other materials, and using welding and grinding equipment. The role requires wearing appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times, including a welding helmet, gloves, shields, and steel-toed boots, and working in a clean, organized, and safety-conscious production area.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sioux Falls, SD.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
