Mainframe Developer

Responsibilities Provide ongoing support and maintenance for the Centralized Security Database. Modify, enhance, and troubleshoot existing programs. Ensure stability, performance, and security of the Centralized Security Database environment. Collaborate with application teams to address issues impacting SAS and COBOL applications. Analyze and resolve production issues in a timely manner. Document changes, enhancements, and best practices to support knowledge transfer. Required Qualifications 10+ years of experience in mainframe development and support. Strong expertise in: SAS (must-have; highly SAS dependent environment) COBOL DB2 JCL REXX Proven experience modifying and maintaining large-scale, complex mainframe applications. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze existing code and resolve issues efficiently. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Nice to Have Prior experience working in large financial institutions or enterprise-scale environments. Familiarity with centralized security or compliance-driven mainframe applications.
