Document Controls Admin
Tri-City Group is currently seeking a Document Control Admin for an immediate opening in Cedar Rapids, IA. This position provides administrative support to the Quality team by organizing, tracking, and maintaining project documentation throughout the construction process. The ideal candidate is highly organized, eager to learn, and enjoys working with detailed information in a fast-paced environment.Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited ToSet up and maintain project QA/CX library folders following CST's document filing standardsOrganize, file, and maintain project documentation, including drawings, specifications, submittals, RFIs, checklists, and commissioning recordsEnsure project documentation is accurate, complete, and stored in the appropriate locationsUse multiple software platforms to manage, track, and retrieve project documentationSupport the Quality team by maintaining documentation required throughout each phase of the projectAssist the QC Manager with processing quality documents, checklists, testing records, and project plansFollow company, client, and General Contractor document control procedures and quality requirementsMaintain project-specific quality checklists and documentation logsTrack document revisions and outstanding items to help ensure timely completionCommunicate with project teams to gather, update, and distribute project documentationAssist with project closeout documentation and record retentionMonday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, are regular business hours. Schedule may vary based on project and business needs.QualificationsWorking knowledge of electrical systems, current codes, and industry standards, or the ability to learn and apply them.Experience working with project owners, general contractors, trade partners, and subcontractors is preferred.One (1) to two (2) years of experience in the construction industry or a related support role preferred.Prior experience in Quality Control or document control is preferred but not requiredCandidates must possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, initiative, dependability, and a commitment to producing accurate, high-quality work.All job offers are contingent upon successful completion of a drug screen and reference check.
