Staff Technical Program Manager
Job Overview
The Staff Technical Program Manager (TPM) is responsible for leading highly complex large-scale deployment programs across domestic and international markets. This role owns execution across multiple concurrent work streams, operates with significant autonomy, and drives consistent delivery outcomes in highly matrixed environments.
The Staff TPM is expected to translate strategic objectives into executable programs, resolve ambiguity independently, and influence senior stakeholders to deliver results.
Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end delivery of large-scale Byte BOH deployments, from planning through go-live and stabilization.
Coordinate across Technology, Restaurant Operations, Finance, Security, Legal, Franchise teams, and external partners.
Drive integrated program plans covering software, hardware, integrations, network readiness, training, and cutover.
Identify risks early, manage dependencies, and keep complex programs moving forward.
Adapt deployment approaches to meet regional and market-specific needs while maintaining consistency and quality.
Communicate program progress, risks, and decisions to senior stakeholders. Capture learnings from deployments and improve repeatable rollout playbooks.
Qualifications
10+ years of experience in Technical Program Management or related roles.
Proven ownership of large, complex technology deployments in enterprise environments.
Strong technical fluency across software systems, integrations, and infrastructure.
Experience managing global or multi-region programs.
Strong experience in leading complex technology or platform deployments.
Comfort working across technical and operational teams.
Ability to simplify complexity and communicate clearly at all levels.
Experience coordinating work across multiple teams, vendors, or regions.
Proactive mindset, anticipating issues and driving solutions.
Nice to Haves:
Experience with BOH, restaurant, or retail systems.
Exposure to international deployments or market launches.
Familiarity with inventory, labor, or restaurant operating systems.
Experience working with franchise partners.
Pay: $85.00 - $93.00 per hour
