This position is responsible for driving sales, maintaining visual standards, assisting with merchandising, and supporting opening and closing procedures. The ideal candidate is customer focused, organized, and confident leading the sales floor.RequirementsCustomer Service & Sales:Build genuine relationships with customers and understand their needsDrive business by responding thoughtfully to customer wants and preferencesAct in the best interest of the customer at all timesMaintain strong product knowledge and confidently engage in suggestive sellingStore Operations & General ResponsibilitiesSupport daily floor supervision and assist in opening and closing the storeMaintain a visually enticing store that is neat, clean, and well organizedAssist with merchandising tasks including stocking, tagging, and restocking merchandiseReceive and process transfer orders and RTVsCommunicate effectively with the Store Manager and provide constructive feedbackRespond to feedback and follow management directionIdentify and report issues or concerns promptlyMaintain a Professional phone presence when calling clientsParticipate in store and management meetingsComplete assigned training lessons and quizzesRespond promptly to management emails while on shiftUnderstand the surrounding retail landscape and competitionPrioritize workload to maximize efficiency while protecting the customer experienceUphold Clare V. policies, procedures, and valuesContribute to a healthy, respectful, and collaborative work environmentQualifications / SkillsHigh School diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience1+ years of retail experience preferredStrong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to build rapport and communicate effectively with customers and team membersStrong eye for fashion and visual presentationProven ability to use selling techniques to achieve sales and repeat businessBasic computer proficiencyAbility to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and varying shiftsAbility to open and close the store independentlyWillingness and ability to travel to other stores within the region as neededPhysical RequirementsThis position requires the ability to perform essential retail functions, with or without reasonable accommodation, including:Standing and walking for extended periods during scheduled shiftsFrequent bending, reaching, stooping, and kneelingClimbing ladders or step stools to access merchandise and displaysLifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling merchandise and fixtures weighing up to 40lbs. including overhead liftingRepetitive use of hands and arms for handling products, operating POS systems, and visual merchandisingAdditional InformationThis job description is intended to describe the general nature and level of work performed and is not an exhaustive list of all duties and responsibilitiesResponsibilities may change based on business needsCompensation & PerksPay range of $25 -$26/hour , along with annual cost-of-living increases, end-of-year bonus opportunities, and generous employee discounts.
