Required travel involving overnight stays, weekend assignments and international opportunitiesESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned:Analyze plant processes, design and implement improvements.Troubleshooting issues with hardware and processes.Plan preventative maintenance.Work with others to detect problems and implement solutions.Maintain quality and safety standards are upheld.Performing and documenting control system testingReviewing reports and test resultsDesigning and developing componentsEnsuring all equipment is properly maintainedMaintaining quality and safety standardsTroubleshooting issues with controls systemsPerforming and maintaining an inventory of all control systemsCreating equipment and systems that help a machine run smoothly.Repairing any malfunctions found within the machines.Collaborating with design engineers to build better functioning machines and systems.Using listening skills to apply updates according to customers' needs.Following safety regulations to ensure customers are safe when using the products.Troubleshooting to find and solve issues for a specific system.Compares, analyzes, and determines if existing products can meet customers' needsMakes suggestions and recommendations to customers for product modifications and improvementsConsults with direct supervision or internal customers for product modificationsMay prepare proposals, quotations, and apply appropriate pricingOperates computer aided design (AutoCAD) system and responsible for new design as well as design changesConducts analysis of operating conditions and specifications proposed by customersDetermines appropriate product selection and/or applicationCreates proposals, quotations, and applies appropriate pricingCoordinates and conducts appropriate training seminars and demonstrations to meet customer needsMaintains current knowledge of company's products and equipment capabilitiesPossesses knowledge of engineering disciplines and industry standards affecting qualityProvides technical support for internal and on-site customersCompletes assigned departmental projectsWe participate in E-Verify.Equal Opportunity Employer, including disability and protected veteran status.
