Senior Paralegal (5+ Years Experience)About Us:Zwillinger Wulkan is a respected litigation firm known for our commitment to excellence, strategic advocacy, and results-driven legal representation. Our practice covers a wide range of litigation areas, including civil, commercial, and complex litigation. We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Paralegal to join our team.Position Overview:As a senior paralegal, you will be responsible for a variety of assignments, such as state and federal court filings, docketing, drafting pleadings and discovery, reviewing productions, preparing correspondence to clients and third-parties, word processing, and other paralegal support tasks. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of managing a high-volume caseload while supporting attorneys through all phases of litigation.Annual Salary: $75,000+ depending on experienceQualifications:5+ year of experience;Professional demeanor;Familiar with project management strategies;Strong communication and problem-solving skills;High level of discretion and confidentiality;Ability to interact effectively with people at all organizational levels;Ability to work in a team environment with a customer service focus;Thorough knowledge of PC applications, including MS Office.Advanced knowledge of legal software programs such as CLIO, Open Discovery, and TrialDirector. Key Responsibilities:Assist attorneys in all stages of litigation, including case intake, discovery, trial preparation, and appealsDraft legal documents such as complaints, subpoenas, motions, and discovery requests/responsesManage document production, including organizing and analyzing large volumes of documentsCoordinate and schedule depositions, hearings, mediations, and trialsMaintain litigation calendars and track important deadlinesPrepare trial binders, exhibits, and witness listsConduct legal research and gather relevant case materialsFile documents electronically with state and federal courtsExperience:Civil Litigation: 5 years (Required)Appellate: 2 years (Preferred)Schedule:8 hour shiftMonday to FridayIn person or hybridBenefits:Competitive salary and annual performance bonusHealth, dental, vision and life insurance401(k) with employer matchingPaid time off, holidays, and sick leaveContinuing education and CLE supportOpportunities for career advancement within the firm
