Vice President Operations

With services from facility maintenance and janitorial to landscaping and snow removal, we enable desired outcomes for our clients through consistent service and outstanding people.We are seeking an experience Vice President of Operations in the Southeast.Ideal candidates must reside in the following states to cover the region: North Carolina, South Carolina, Alabama, Georgia, and/or Florida to be considered.Position OverviewThe Vice President of Operations is responsible for leading a geographically assigned janitorial operations portfolio, with full accountability for service delivery, client satisfaction, financial performance, and people leadership. This role ensures consistent execution of operational standards, safety protocols, and quality expectations across the assigned book of business.Reporting to the Senior Vice President of Operations, the Vice President serves as a senior operational leader and escalation point, driving performance, resolving complex issues, and strengthening client relationships. Success in this role requires strong operational judgment, financial discipline, and the ability to lead teams through accountability, structure, and partnership.Key ResponsibilitiesOperational LeadershipOversee day-to-day operations across an assigned janitorial portfolioEnsure consistent execution of service delivery, safety, and quality standardsLead operational reviews, audits, and corrective action planningServe as the escalation point for complex operational, client, and employee mattersClient Relations & RetentionBuild and maintain strong executive-level client relationshipsLead Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) and client strategy discussionsProactively identify and mitigate retention risksPartner with Sales and Commercial teams on growth, upsell, and expansion opportunitiesFinancial & P&L AccountabilityOwn P&L performance for the assigned portfolioManage budgets, forecasts, labor models, and margin performanceAnalyze KPIs and dashboards to drive operational and financial decisionsIdentify cost optimization and efficiency opportunitiesPeople Leadership & DevelopmentLead, coach, and develop Operations leaders and managersDrive accountability, performance management, and succession planningFoster a culture of ownership, professionalism, and continuous improvementSupport talent retention and leadership pipeline developmentStrategy & Cross-Functional PartnershipExercise sound judgment and decision-making authorityScale best practices and support innovation in service deliveryPartner with HR, Safety, Finance, and other functional leaders on enterprise initiativesQualifications & Core CompetenciesProven senior operations leadership experience in janitorial, facilities, or service-based environmentsStrong business and financial acumen with P&L ownership experienceExecutive presence and confidence in client-facing settingsAbility to lead through influence, accountability, and structureData-driven mindset with experience using KPIs and operational dashboardsCommitment to leadership development and continuous improvementMeasures of SuccessAchievement of operational KPIs and service quality benchmarksClient satisfaction and retention resultsFinancial performance against budget and forecastCompletion and demonstrated application of VP1 training milestonesLeadership effectiveness and team development outcomesBenefits:Starting Salary: $100,000/yearPaid holidays and vacation time.Health Benefits PackageAncillary benefits-Life insurance, Long Term Disability, FSA, and Dependent Spending care401KOpportunity for growthBonus PayPritchard Industries participates in E-Verify.Equal Opportunity EmployerThis employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
