Manufacturing Engineer

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working across production setup, test systems, and component-level diagnostics in a fast-paced electronics manufacturing environment.As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will be responsible for setting up and maintaining production lines used to repair and upgrade returned customer products, while also supporting technicians in diagnosing and repairing electronic systems to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality operations.Duties:Including but not limited to:Lead the setup of new production line equipment used to test, repair, and upgrade electronic productsAssist in the design, construction, and maintenance of test fixtures and test systems, including hardware, software, and mechanical components as neededTroubleshoot product failures and perform root-cause analysis on electronic products returned from customer facilitiesCollect repair data and maintain accurate repair records and databasesProvide feedback to product development teams regarding design corrections, product enhancements, and recurring failure trendsAssist in developing and documenting troubleshooting and repair protocolsPerform repairs on returned devices in accordance with established quality and safety standardsAssist technicians in troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing electronic productsProvide technical guidance and mentoring to operations and repair techniciansSkills and Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent combination of education and experienceExperience with the design or manufacturing of microprocessor- or microcontroller-based products requiredExperience in an electronics manufacturing environment is idealExperience developing automated test systems is preferred but not requiredExperience in component-level troubleshooting and repair of electronic products is strongly preferredExperience with switching power supplies is preferred but not requiredAbility to design, construct, and maintain test fixtures and test systems for microcontroller-based productsAbility to troubleshoot electrical circuits to the component level using schematics and common test and measurement equipment, including oscilloscopes and multimetersWorking knowledge of laboratory and manufacturing safety practicesStrong problem-solving skills, a willingness to learn, and a self-motivated approach to workAbility to work effectively both independently and as part of a teamWillingness and ability to mentor operations and repair techniciansBasic proficiency with Microsoft Windows and Microsoft OfficeEducation & Experience:Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent combination of education and experienceBackground in electronics manufacturing, testing, or repair strongly preferredWork Environment:Electronics manufacturing and repair environmentWork involves hands-on troubleshooting, test equipment, and production line supportMust follow established safety procedures and laboratory/manufacturing safety practices
