Field Service Engineer - DetroitDetroit, Michigan, United StatesField Service Engineer Service Responsibilities:Responsible for the following devices:CT, MRI, PET, SPECTExperience in the medical imaging field preferred.Performs scheduled maintenance and operation verification procedures on complex medical imaging equipmentRepairs, installs and calibrates complex medical imaging equipment devices and systemsInforms managers of the status of repairs, scheduled inspections, unusual equipment situations and any customer concernsPerforms periodic inspections of current inventory status and maintains inventory of common failure parts to ensure equipment uptimeWorks with, directs and documents the activities of subcontractors, vendors and outside service technicians to ensure proper service deliveryPreferred Qualifications:A.S. Degree from an accredited school in electronics or DOD certification or equivalent experience.3-7 years working with Diagnostic Imaging Medical Equipment- MR, CT, PET or SPECTExperience working in medical facilities in a professional mannerAbility to perform orderly and efficient work while adhering to medical facility policyExcellent verbal and written communication skills as well as interpersonal skillsRequired Citizenship / Work Permit / Visa StatusUS Citizen / Green Card holderMust-HavesMust have recent Field Service Engineer experience Minimum 3+ years of experience Must have recent experience in the required modality - MR & CT Must be factory or formally trained by PHILIPS, GE, or SIEMENS OR third party training from RSTI or ALL PARTS Must provide trained certificate from any of the OEM (Philips/GE/Siemens) US citizens only Must have an active state licenseStrict No-NosNo gaps in education No gaps in between organizations
