Responsibilities include supporting preclinical research and study procedures by preparing anesthesia and instrumentation for surgical procedures, assisting in the operating room, ensuring proper sterilization techniques, and contributing to the overall quality of research outcomes. The individual will work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to maintain the highest standards in surgical support and scientific rigor.QualificationsProficiency in Surgical Technology and Surgical AssistingExperience working in an Operating Room and understanding surgical protocols and instrumentsKnowledge of Animal Medicine and its application to preclinical researchCompetence in Sterilization techniques and practicesStrong attention to detail and ability to follow surgical protocolsExcellent communication and teamwork skillsVeterinary or animal research experience is a plusBackground in ophthalmology is desiredCertification in surgical technology or a related field is preferred
