SummaryJOB SUMMARY Responds to Global (existing SPX channels, representatives/customers) telephone and/or written inquiries regarding spares selection, RSQs, placement of orders, quotations, returns or complaints.Evaluate and perform various tasks daily to ensure that customer satisfaction is at the core of all daily activities. Liaise with external and internal customers and departments such as Supply Chain department, technical department and warehouse to communicate requirements and feedbacks. Also includes handling pricing and price list questions regarding standard products.Principal Duties And ResponsibilitiesProvide quotations with price, lead time, and payment terms, for spare parts in an efficient and responsive manner Prepare spare parts lists for new capital equipment (RSQs), pursuing and tracking the capture of this aftermarket business.Proactively follow up quotations, focusing on (internal/External) customer satisfaction Liaise with other internal departments such as Supply Chain, Engineering, project management and Finance, as well as field sales personnel as necessary. Analyze quotation success rate regularly and providing data as necessary to management.Perform order entry responsibilities daily including adding new orders, adding items to existing orders, changing orders, changing items on existing orders, canceling orders, and canceling items on existing orders.Utilizes specialized technical/product knowledge to sell and promote parts and/or services primarily by telephone.Update and maintain customer master files as needed.Update and maintain quality data on Quotations and Orders in ERP systemSupport engineering, operations and/or sales for specific projectsProvide shipping with updates on preferred shipping methods for customers.Review customer complaints and issue returned goods numbers or initiate corrective action, perform a lead role in maintaining customer satisfaction and relations.Process credits for returned goods under warranty.Back up any position in area of responsibility as necessary.Assign priorities as needed to ensure departmental work is completed accurately, on-time and on budgetProactively engage with customers when earlier deliveries are possible.Proactively engage with inactive customers. Design, develop and execute recovery plans. Other Languages as for example French, Spanish and/or Mandarin is an advantage. Have solid computer skills and experience with ERP – e.g. Axapta or SAPTechnical background, eg. higher technical education, probably have a background as Machine Technician, Service Technician or similar.Preferably commercial experience within sales of technical services and/or technical products.Good knowledge of computer systems (Microsoft office, SAP, data entry skills)PHYSICAL DEMANDSThe Physical Demands Described Here Are Representative Of Those That Must Be Met By An Employee To Successfully Perform The Essential Functions Of This Job. The anticipated salary range is what we believe to be the likely base salary range for this position at the time of posting. Actual salary for this position will depend on relevant qualifications, skills, and experience.
