The facility features a highly respected and rapidly growing behavioral health team with access to top-notch facilities, offering an ideal professional atmosphere for psychiatric practice with excellent support staff and extensive resources.Opportunity:Physician - PsychiatryJob Details:Provide behavioral health services to individual patients across the lifespan in both local and outlying communitiesPart-time or full-time position available with Monday through Friday schedule from 8am-5pmNo evenings or weekends requiredPractice consists primarily of outpatient services with possibility of rotating schedule for inpatient/ED consultsConduct health screenings and comprehensive psychiatric evaluationsPrescribe, monitor, manage, and evaluate psychopharmacological medicationsProvide integrated mental health services in general health settingsCollaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, clinical social workers, nurse practitioners, and support staffSeek consultation and refer patients to other providers when necessaryWork with other departments and specialties to treat patients with complex medical needs and comorbid mental health concernsPediatric experience and competence preferred though not requiredMD degree with Board Certification or Board Eligibility in psychiatry requiredABPP certification preferred though not requiredChild/adolescent certification preferred though not requiredMust complete successful credentialing process prior to practiceStrong analytical, critical thinking, and organizational skills requiredExcellent oral and written communication abilities essentialCompensation:Employed salary with benefits.by Jobble
