As a systems engineer on our team, you will support one of the largest enterprise-wide engineering contracts within the Intelligence Community. This is a full-time position requiring 1880 hours of support per year and work is performed at a customer location. As a Performance Data Systems Engineer on our team, you will ensure mission management data sourced in reports adheres to data assurance and governance policies; complies with evolving access, retention and purge policies; and is as complete, accurate and compliant as possible.In addition, you will:Proactively look for compliance issues and data tagging irregularities sourced in reportsRespond to internally and externally reported compliance issues found in reportsPerform root cause analysisEnable solutions to ensure data integrity and quality control of smart data tags in performance dataDocument investigative solutionsTrack and report remediation solutions, as well as work with external partners to fix identified issuesValidate and ensure accurate and compliant data is available to the Enterprise #AJCM#MDFSPQualificationsIndividual Capabilities/Experience Required:A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related discipline and at least 20 years of systems engineering experience. A master's degree or PhD may be substituted for two years of experience. Note: High School Diploma or GED plus 24 years of systems engineering experience would also be acceptable.Familiarity with the SIGINT SystemFamiliarity with SIGINT Authorities and associated limitationsPosition requires an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.Individual Capabilities/Experience Desired:Familiarity with customer data compliance policyFamiliarity with sourcing (e.g., CAMKEYs, Data Tagging, Warehouses, etc.)Familiarity with how reporting is performed (e.g. LACs, COIs, Purge, etc.)Familiarity with ABACUSFamiliarity with Jira and ConfluenceStrong deep troubleshooting and/or problem-solving experience, especially with root cause analysisStrong oral, written and interpersonal communications skillsAbility to work independently and within a team setting to complete assigned tasks on scheduleFlexible/easily adaptable within a dynamic work environmentApplicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.Peraton offers enhanced benefits to employees working on this critical National Security program, which include heavily subsidized employee benefits coverage for you and your dependents, 25 days of PTO accrued annually up to a generous PTO cap and eligible to participate in an attractive bonus plan.DetailsTarget Salary Range: $176,000 - $282,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations.
