With over 10 strategic locations serving all 49 states and Canada, we offer stability, safety, and a sense of family in every mile.Job Description:As a CDL A Tanker Driver, you will be responsible for transporting liquid bulk materials safely and efficiently, ensuring timely and secure deliveries based on your preferred driving route—Local, Regional, or Over the RoadThis position operates out of our Louisville terminal.Key Responsibilities:Safely operate tanker trucks to transport liquid bulk materials to and from customer locationsConduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure safety and compliance with regulationsLoad and unload tanker trucks using hoses or pumps while following all safety protocolsMaintain accurate records of deliveries, inspections, and incidentsCommunicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to coordinate delivery schedulesAdhere to all local, state, and federal regulations regarding the transportation of hazardous materialsMaintain a steady workload by meeting mileage or hour requirements to contribute to the overall success of the operation24/7 Operation - Willingness to be available 24/7 when neededFlexible time off based on scheduling and operational needsRequirementsAltom Transport has a rigorous safety program that encompasses our onboarding process and new hire training within our safety department as well as mandatory quarterly safety meetings throughout our fleet.
