Training Range Facilities Maintenance Strategos Consulting LLC Strategos Consulting is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), which identifies and provides usable solutions (consulting, services, training, and engineering) to the US Government and its partners. In 2009, we created Strategos Training and Services, a professional training company focused on providing services, education, and training to United States military personnel. Strategos Training and Services specializes in non-personal support services, professional instruction, training analysis, training plan development, and curriculum development. Strategos is seeking a Training Range Facilities Maintenance in pursuit of a government contract. Performance Location: Virginia Beach, VA Duties and Responsibilities: o Provide SME in Naval Ordnance Safety and Security (NOSSA) demolition range safety. o Assist the preparation and submission of demolition range site approval requests. o Maintain records of all demolition areas utilized by EODTEU TWO that are known or suspected to present explosive agent hazards. o Monitor established consumable material inventory baseline. With this is the expectation to forecast material needs and develop purchase requests when necessary. o Prepare demolition ranges prior to use. With this is the expectation to assist range safety walkthroughs prior to the placement of explosives and after the completion of demolition training events. o Clear debris from demolition training areas and rebuild damaged/destroyed training structures following demolition training events. o Construct new training structures and modify existing training structures and training areas, as required. Qualifications and Requirements: Employees must have no less than four (4) years’ experience in a military construction related field, and at least two (2) years’ experience in maintaining demolition ranges.
