If you share our passion for beautiful cars, thrive on details, and want to be part of something extraordinary, this is your chance.Why You’ll Love This Role:Lead and supervise production scheduling to ensure department goals are achieved and production deadlines are met on time and within budgetUse your extensive knowledge of the production process to design and implement the production schedule plan considering all aspects of production including cost, timeliness, and effectivenessWork cross-departmentally with Material Operations and production teams to review relevant factors impacting production schedules, improve processes, and resolve issues What You’ll Do:Perform administrative duties, including but not limited to scheduling, conducting reviews, maintaining accurate reports to finance on actuals and planImplement best-practices for production scheduling across US Operations and alignment with UK operationsBe responsible for tracking and reporting vehicle and sub assembly production statusBe accountable for vehicle and sub assembly on-time deliveryAct as liaison with Sales team for priority alignment and accurate units production status reportingProvide leadership and guidance to the rest of the Production Scheduling Team and Production Leads regarding the production schedule and status, tracking live statusServe as a role model, facilitating effective communication practices throughout the team and embodying the value of, “Everything is Important.”Ensure the ERP/MRP/MES system accurately reflects the correct production plan and status of vehicles and sub-assembliesPublish an accurate production schedule forecastEnsure that daily, weekly, and monthly reporting accurately represents the production statusWork to resolve/escalate any issues blocking progress on achieving the production schedule in a timely mannerFoster a team environment across the functions involved in achieving the production schedule Who We’re Looking For:High school graduate or equivalentStrong computer skills, proficient in full suite of MS Office and ERP/MRP systemsFive (5) years of related work experience, including at least three (3) plus years of related experience as Material Planner, Production Planner, Material Handler, or equivalentBonus points for bachelor’s degree in supply chain/relevant field preferredBonus points for prior leadership experienceStrong analytical, project management, computer, communication, and writing skills (typing, spelling, grammar)Bonus points for experience in the aerospace or automotive industries and/or a fast-paced-high growth environmentAbility to work under deadlines in a fast-paced work environmentAbility to work independently, typically initiating own tasks without input/guidance from managerAbility to communicate and collaborate with diverse co-workers and personalities in engineering, production, and management; ability to have insight into their changing needsExcellent communicator, both written and verbal; ability to express ideas clearly and actively listen to othersTeam oriented, with a strong ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment to meet multiple deadlinesExcellent time management with an ability to balance multiple projects and timelinesStrong organizational, problem-solving, and collaborative skills with the ability to prioritize efficiently and effectively within and across departmentsPerfectionist mindset, very high attention to detail, and a passion for carsPositive attitude and strong work ethicLocation & Schedule:This position is onsite in Torrance, CA. The core hours are Monday – Friday 5am – 1:30pm.What We Offer - Benefits Driven by You:The starting pay range for this position is between $104,344 - 130,429 per year plus bonus.
