PCC's clients include New York State and City agencies such as DOT, DEP, DDC, DPR, EDC, and SCA, among others.We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Receptionist.Job Summary:This role combines traditional front desk responsibilities with office operations, inventory management, and organizational initiatives. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a professional front office environment while supporting internal logistics, warehouse organization, and cost-saving efforts across the company.Key Responsibilities:Reception & Administrative Support:Serve as the first point of contact by greeting visitors and answering incoming calls professionallyManage incoming and outgoing mail, deliveries, and packagesMaintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front desk and office environmentProvide general administrative support including filing, data entry, and document managementOffice & Warehouse Organization:Organize and track field office boxes returned to the main officeCreate and maintain a labeling hierarchy for returned materials (plans, office supplies, timecards, electronics)Ensure all telephone and internet equipment is returned and properly accounted forMaintain organization and cleanliness of the file room and internal warehouse areasIdentify and recycle or repurpose reusable furniture and equipmentInventory & Supply Management:Monitor office supply inventory and maintain appropriate stock levelsImplement and manage a FIFO (First-In, First-Out) system for suppliesCreate and maintain a standardized consumables list for field office distributionCoordinate ordering and distribution of supplies to job sitesCost Control & Process Improvement:Support company cost-saving initiativesMonitor office expenses and identify opportunities for improvementAssist in maintaining efficient processes and reducing wasteQualifications:1–3 years of experience in a receptionist, administrative, or office support roleStrong organizational and multitasking skillsHigh attention to detail and ability to manage inventory and tracking systemsProficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)Strong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to take initiative and work independentlyAdministrative & Office Support:Assist with additional office coordination tasks and support internal teams as needed
