Tool and Die Machinist/Operator

Job Description Immediately hiring a highly skilled and detail-oriented Tool and Die Operator/Machinist to join our manufacturing team. The position is located on the southside of San Antonio.Pay is up to $19/hr. based on experienceShift is Mon-Fri 10am-6:30pm (overtime as needed)Duties:Able to replace / rework if any tool elements are found worn out, broken, chipped, etc.Responsible for solving tooling issues if any found during running the mold.Be able to train junior operators in assembly techniques (Grinding techniques, advanced inspection techniques etc.,)Responsible for receiving new mold's & conducting incoming inspectionResponsible for operating grinding machines.Handling of measuring instruments like micrometer, vernier caliper.Inspection the tool elements in height gauge / masterResponsible for changing the mold tool in molding.Estimate the work as per plan and deliver the job 100% on time every time.Must monitor and report weekly performance on Right first and Quality of every tool he makesCollect all required std. elements for tool as soon as tool allocationPrepare the machining sketch for grinding operatorsAssemble tool and ensure all shot-offs are perfectly matchedAttend the tool trial and make sure no other open issues before handover the tool for production.Make sure all quality system related documents are stored as per the procedure.Conducts and monitors 5S activitiesRequirements:High school diploma or ED preferredMust have experience in mold assemblySeeking at least 2 years in tooling industryKnowledge in identifying fasteners and inspecting the tool elementsKnowledge in inspecting angular dimensions in profile projectorsHigh degree of expertise in inspection techniques (3D measurement and Angular measurements)Please call/text 210-664-2680vipstaffing#zrsat
