Position Overview: Location: Near Pacifica, CAStart Date: ASAP (as soon as credentialed)End Date: Ongoing (initial assignment through January 2025, possibly extended through April 2025)Shift Type: DaysSchedule: 3 days per week, 8 AM - 5 PM (flexible on which days)Call Coverage: Light call coverage with typically 1-5 calls per month, primarily for existing patients Assignment Details: Setting: Clinic-based with some after-hours call coverage for current patientsFTE: 0.6 (Part-Time)Support Staff: Medical Assistant (MA), Medical Office Receptionist (MOR), Supervisor, Manager, DirectorPatients per Day: 13-15Duties:Direct patient care for both follow-ups and new patientsVisit documentation, message management, and prescription refillsPerforming thyroid biopsies (required)Required Procedures: Thyroid Ultrasound (performed at the providers discretion)EMR System: Cerner Requirements: Board Certification: Must be board-certified in Endocrinology.Certifications: BLS certification required.State License: Must hold an active California state license.Privileges: Emergency/temporary privileges are not available for this position.
