Location Houston - on-site 5 days a weekTitle Sr. Progress DeveloperSalary up to $150,000.Benefits - Medical, Dental, 401k match, Life InsuranceOur client is seeking an experienced Senior Progress OpenEdge Developer to join their team. Be responsible for developing enhancements for their customized ERP platform in a fast-paced Agile environment.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, test, and maintain Progress OpenEdge applications and integrations. Build and support APIs using PASOE and related technologies. Troubleshoot application issues, optimize performance, and support deployments. Participate in Agile development, code reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives. Required QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent experience. 5+ years of Progress OpenEdge / Progress 4GL development experience. Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming, SQL, Linux/Unix, and application integration. Experience with PASOE, WebSpeed, Progress databases, and OpenEdge Studio. Proficiency with JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, JSON, AJAX, and API development/testing tools such as Postman. Experience with GitHub, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, SVN, and CI/CD processes.
