Financial ReportingManager

We are seeking a growthminded Financial Reporting Manager to take ownership of SEC reporting and external financial disclosures for a growing organization operating in a publiccompany environment. This role is intentionally designed for professionals who have built strong, handson SEC reporting experience and are ready to elevate into a formal managerial role with increased scope, visibility, and leadership responsibility. This position offers the opportunity to own critical filings endtoend, gain exposure to senior leadership, and play a meaningful role in shaping reporting processes as the organization continues to scale. The ideal candidate is technically strong, detaildriven, and motivated by career progression, expanded responsibility, and longterm growth.Core ResponsibilitiesTake direct ownership of the full preparation and filing of Form 10Q and Form 10K, from initial drafting through final submission Prepare and maintain complete SEC disclosure checklists, ensuring technical accuracy and regulatory compliance Perform detailed financial statement tieouts, tracing every reported figure back to source documentation and supporting schedules Draft and coordinate earnings releases, including financial tables, disclosures, and alignment with MD&A Prepare and file SEC forms including 8Ks and Form 4s, managing deadlines and ensuring accuracy Serve as a primary liaison with external auditors for SEC reporting matters, filings, and reviews Review complex journal entries, account reconciliations, and technical accounting conclusions impacting external reporting Partner crossfunctionally with FP&A, Legal, Tax, and Investor Relations to ensure consistent messaging across filings and earnings materials Research and implement new accounting standards and SEC requirements, documenting conclusions and policy updates Help build, document, and enhance financial reporting processes, internal controls, and filing calendars Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, automation, and scalability within the reporting function Provide guidance, review, and mentorship to staff and senior accountants, supporting their development while growing into a peopleleadership role Participate in special projects, transactions, or ad hoc SEC filings as the business evolves Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA strongly preferred or in progress) 5-9+ years of progressive financial reporting or SEC reporting experience Demonstrated readiness for a managerial title, with experience reviewing work, mentoring others, or leading reporting processes Strong knowledge of GAAP, SEC regulations, and publiccompany reporting requirements Proven ability to manage deadlines independently in a highvisibility reporting environment Advanced Excel skills; experience with SEC reporting and ERP tools preferred Strong attention to detail, ownership mindset, and desire to grow professionally Effective communicator comfortable interacting with auditors and senior leadership Pay Details: $100,000.00 to $120,000.00 per year Search managed by: Andre Roesmaladi Equal Opportunity Employer/Veterans/Disabled Military connected talent encouraged to apply To read our Candidate Privacy Information Statement, which explains how we will use your information, please navigate to https://www.lhh.com/us/en/candidate-privacy The Company will consider qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records in accordance with federal, state, and local laws and/or security clearance requirements, including, as applicable: The California Fair Chance Act Los Angeles City Fair Chance Ordinance Los Angeles County Fair Chance Ordinance for Employers San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance Massachusetts Candidates Only: It is unlawful in Massachusetts to require or administer a lie detector test as a condition of employment or continued employment.
