Job Title: Manager of Global Trade ComplianceJob OverviewResponsible for managing the day-to-day execution of the company's global trade compliance activities, including import/export compliance, tariff classification, and regulatory adherence across international manufacturing and sourcing operations. This role supports the implementation of trade compliance policies and promotes consistent practices across regions while helping identify opportunities to optimize duty exposure. The position partners with regional and cross-functional stakeholders to support compliant and efficient cross-border operations, including Mexico-based or IMMEX-related activities, as applicable.Job ResponsibilitiesManage import and export compliance activities across multiple jurisdictions, including the U.S. and key international regionsApply and maintain tariff classifications (HTS or local equivalents), and assess applicability of Section 232 and AD/CVD regulations where relevantExecute and maintain processes supporting country-of-origin determination and BOM-level traceability across global supply chainsMaintain documentation standards with suppliers and internal teams to support audit readiness and regulatory filings in various jurisdictionsCoordinate with customs brokers and regional service providers to ensure accurate and timely filings, review entries for compliance and consistencySupport identification and implementation of duty mitigation opportunities, including tariff engineering and sourcing adjustmentsAssist with responses to customs audits, prior disclosures, and regulatory inquiries across regionsPartner with operations, sourcing, finance, logistics, and legal teams to ensure trade compliance requirements are integrated into business processes globallyMaintain and improve trade compliance processes across ERP systems and business units to promote consistency and scalabilitySupport trade compliance activities related to cross-border manufacturing and temporary import/export programs, including IMMEX where applicableCoordinate with customs authorities and government agencies during audits, inspections, and information requestsSupport customs valuation processes globally, including assists, intercompany pricing, freight, and landed cost componentsReconcile customs data with ERP and financial records to ensure alignment and accuracyMonitor broker and service provider performance against established expectations and escalate issues as neededConduct internal compliance reviews and support ongoing audit readiness across regionsAssist in developing and delivering trade compliance training to internal stakeholders globallyMaintain accuracy and integrity of trade compliance master data (e.g., tariff classifications, country of origin, valuation data) across systemsOther duties, as assigned.Education – Experience Required5–8 years of experience in customs and trade compliance within a global manufacturing, distribution, or related environmentStrong working knowledge of Tariff classification (HTS and/or international equivalents), Section 232 tariffs and Antidumping and countervailing duties (AD/CVD)Experience supporting customs audits, disclosures, or regulatory inquiriesWorking knowledge of international trade regulations across multiple jurisdictions preferredSolid understanding of global supply chain and manufacturing processesExperience working cross-functionally in a multi-entity, international environmentExperience maintaining or improving trade compliance processes and documentationFamiliarity with cross-border manufacturing operations, including Mexico or maquiladora (IMMEX) programs, preferredWorking knowledge of customs valuation, inventory reconciliation, and landed cost componentsExperience with ERP systems and trade compliance data managementAbility to coordinate effectively with customs brokers and external service providers across regionsSpanish language proficiency preferred
