Founding Full-Stack EngineerNew York City | Full-Time | In-PersonUp to $220K + EquityWe’re working with an early-stage, high-growth AI technology company in New York City that is looking to hire Founding Full-Stack Engineers to join its small, senior founding team.The company is building the operating system for GTM execution - an API-first Context API that enables AI agents to enrich, validate, deduplicate, and sequence data across 40+ go-to-market data providers through a single API.Backed by $3.3M in pre-seed funding and experiencing approximately 100% month-over-month growth, the company is already seeing strong enterprise traction with customers including Modal and Composio.This is a high-ownership founding engineering opportunity for someone who wants to build products from the ground up, work directly with customers, and help shape both the technology and product roadmap.What You’ll Be DoingOwn business problems end-to-end: form hypotheses, experiment, iterate, and shipBuild and scale agentic and automation systems that turn customer feedback into actionable product improvementsWrite and ship production code daily while using and managing coding agents effectivelyWork extensively with Claude Code and AI coding agents to accelerate engineering workflowsTurn raw customer feedback into product direction and help shape a fast-moving 2–3-month product roadmapExtend the company's Context API and build integrations across 40+ GTM data providersDesign, build, and maintain full-stack production systems across Python, TypeScript/JavaScript, and SQLWork with data access, modeling, pipelines, and integrations across complex data systemsMake architectural and technical decisions with a strong focus on speed, reliability, and business impactCollaborate directly with the founding team and take ownership of ambiguous technical and product challengesBuild systems that enable AI agents and automation to solve real-world GTM problemsIterate quickly based on customer feedback, usage, and measurable outcomesContribute to a highly hands-on engineering culture where engineers own problems rather than simply closing ticketsWhat We’re Looking For3+ years of experience building production software systemsStrong evidence of career velocity, such as promotions, increasing scope, or rapidly growing ownershipStrong full-stack engineering experience across Python, TypeScript/JavaScript, and SQLStrong understanding of data access, data modelling, pipelines, and data-driven systemsHeavy hands-on experience using Claude Code or other AI coding agentsStrong software engineering fundamentals and ability to reason from first principlesExperience taking products or features from concept through productionComfortable working with significant ambiguity and taking ownership without extensive directionStrong product and business sense, with the ability to connect engineering work to customer outcomesComfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment with a high level of ownershipStrong communication skills and intellectual curiosityNice to HavePrevious founder or startup experienceExperience at a high-bar engineering organization such as Meta or another top-tier technology companyStrong academic pedigree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical disciplineData engineering or data science backgroundExperience building AI, LLM, agentic, or automation systemsA standout side project with measurable traction, such as significant GitHub adoption, users, or revenueExperience building 0→1 products or joining an early-stage companyExperience working directly with customers to translate feedback into product decisionsDemonstrated ability to move quickly and take on increasing scopeLocation: New York CityWorking Model: On-site / Hybrid depending on the opportunityEmployment: Full-Time
