Preventative Maintenance Technician
Maintenance TechnicianCurrently hiring in the Delaware County area for this manufacturing company seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician for this FULL TIME and LONG TERM opportunity. The maintenance technician will be responsible for troubleshooting and performing preventative maintenance on the production equipment which includes repairing and troubleshooting pneumatics, controllers, relays, motors, and transformers. Other responsibilities may include replacing fitting bearings, O rings, gears, and shafts. Both mechanical and electrical knowledge will be needed for this role. INTERVIEWING NOW, offering WEEKLY PAY, and company BENEFITS!Please review the responsibilities and skills below, if interested apply by submitting your resume with the best contact information for us to reach out and speak further on this role and next steps in the hiring process.ResponsibilitiesOrganize and determine repair and maintenance procedures, priorities, and proceed with minimal supervision or direction.Move and erect all types of machine tools and equipment for new installations or plant layout changes.Perform maintenance and repair of milling machinery.Conduct electrical maintenance from fault diagnosis to replacement of spindle and axis motors, power supplies, drive modules and cards, connectors, proximity switches, etc.Repair and troubleshoot pneumatics, controllers, relays, motors, transformers, power supplies, etc.Rebuild certain parts, such as motors, rather than ordering new ones.Diagnose and correct mechanical, electrical, and electronic troubles, including repairs and replacement of monitors, controls, switches, devices, etc.Replace fitting bearings, bushings, O rings, gears, shafts, etc., using a broad range of hand and machine tools.Perform calibrations of all production equipment.Essential SkillsStrong knowledge of electrical systems and troubleshooting.Experience as a maintenance technician with skills in pneumatics, repair, and preventive maintenance.Familiarity with hydraulic systems, HVAC systems, and electrical troubleshooting.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chester, PA.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
