PEGA Solutions Engineer

We need a team member who is ready to translate customers’ IT needs and future goals into technological solutions with Pega. We have several large projects, some established, and some just getting started, at the Department of Veterans Affairs and need smart team members to help us deliver! The successful candidate will be an inquisitive problem solver with the ability to quickly analyze the needs for specific projects and implement effective solutions with minimal direction. All projects require our team members to identify challenges and offer creative solutions!DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:·        Design, architect, and develop Pega-based solutions, prioritizing features and sub-features with testable acceptance criteria·        Design and implement solutions with Pega Rules Process Commander (PRPC)·        Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and define clear acceptance criteria for each feature·        Leverage PaaS/SaaS applications and cloud-based infrastructure to design and implement scalable and flexible Pega applications·        Develop and maintain a solid understanding of data models and effectively utilize them in Pega solution design·        Design and implement robust APIs to enable seamless integration between Pega applications and other systems·        Collaborate with development teams to ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices in Pega development·        Conduct code reviews and provide recommendations for optimizing Pega applications for performance and scalability·        Collaborate with business stakeholders to prioritize features and ensure alignment with VA-specific goals·        Create and maintain technical documentation, including architectural diagrams, data models, and API specificationsKNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:·        5+ years of experience with solution architecture in IT environments·        3+ years of experience developing and implementing Pega PaaS/SaaS solutions·        Experience working on Pega tools like Pega Log Analyzer (PLA), System Management Application (SMA), Intro scope, Pega Predictive Diagnostic Cloud (PDC)·        Experience with direct client engagement to elicit business and technical needs·        Experience with prioritizing features and sub-features with testable acceptance criteria·        Experience with designing large scale solutions and architectures that support thousands of users·        Experience in projecting future level of effort based on exposure and solution success·        Experience designing and supporting implementation of technical architecture for PaaS and/or SaaS applications·        Knowledge of Cloud, DevSecOps, API strategies, data models, low-code/no-code solutions, mainframe systems, microservices architectures, and custom application development technologies·        Ability to lead other technical subject matter experts to integrate their domain expertise into the solution design processKNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS DESIRED:·        Experience designing architectures for Pega solutions·        Experience working with Federal agencies is a plusEDUCATION:·        Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or related field. CLEARANCE: ·        Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance. WORK LOCATION:·        Remote Technatomy Corporation is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
