Summary:Assist the accounting department in various clerical tasks to support financial transactions, record-keeping, and data entry.Responsibilities:Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and efficiently.Enter financial data into accounting software and maintain electronic records.Reconcile bank statements, credit card transactions, and vendor statements.Assist in preparing basic financial reports, such as balance sheets and income statements.Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records and documentation.Handle filing, scanning, and organizing financial documents.Provide general administrative support to the accounting team as required.Requirements:High school diploma or equivalent.Some college coursework in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.1-3 years of experience in an accounting or clerical role.Required Skills:Basic understanding of accounting principles and practices.Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.Good organizational and time management skills.Effective communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.Preferred Skills:Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks or Xero.Familiarity with basic financial concepts and terminology.Willingness to learn and grow in the accounting field.
