CNC Machinist TraineeLSINC Corporation is a dynamic, innovative company experiencing rapid growth in engineering, manufacturing, and product development. We are seeking motivated, hands-on individuals who are eager to learn and build a career in machining and advanced manufacturing.This is an entry-level CNC machinist trainee role designed for individuals with strong mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn. Minimal CNC machining experience preferredwe will train the right candidate.What You'll Do (What You'll Learn):As a CNC Machinist Trainee, you will work alongside experienced machinists to develop skills in:Learning to operate CNC mills and lathes in a production environmentAssisting with machine setup, tooling, and part loadingReading and interpreting basic engineering drawings and job specificationsPerforming basic measurements using calipers, micrometers, and other precision toolsSupporting the fabrication of parts to required tolerances and quality standardsAssisting with finishing processes such as deburring and polishingIdentifying and reporting defects or quality concernsMaintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environmentOver time, you will gain exposure to:CNC programmingAdvanced setups and machine operationsComplex machining processes and quality inspection techniquesWhat We're Looking For:We are not expecting experiencewe are looking for potential.Required:Strong mechanical aptitude and interest in how things workWillingness to learn and take direction from experienced team membersReliable attendance and strong work ethicAbility to follow instructions and work safely in a manufacturing environmentBasic math skills (measurements, fractions, etc.)Ability to read a tape measure or willingness to learnGrowth Opportunity:This is not just a jobit's a career path.Successful trainees will have the opportunity to grow into:CNC MachinistSetup TechnicianCNC ProgrammerPhysical Requirements:Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of timeAbility to lift up to 50 poundsFrequent bending, reaching, and use of hand toolsAbility to safely operate basic shop equipment toolsWork EnvironmentManufacturing / machine shop settingFast-paced, team-oriented environmentStrong focus on safety and qualityAdditional Requirements:Must meet guidelines as required for access to International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and Government projectsAuthorization to work in the U.S. required, E-Verify requiredWhy LSINC?Hands on training and skill developmentClear path for advancementOpportunity to work on innovative manufacturing projectsSupportive team environmentLSINC is an equal employment opportunity employer.
