A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.Opportunity:RN - Med Surg TeleJob Details:• Work Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM• No evening shifts or evening call responsibilities• Take one Saturday morning call from 7:00 AM to 11:00 AM• Must have telemetry experience and ability to read EKG strips• Required to start IVs and have cardiology experience• Perform all stress testing including plain treadmill, nuclear stress, and stress echocardiogram• Follow protocol-driven stress testing procedures• Start IVs and push Definity for echocardiograms in the echo lab• Assist Echo Tech with maximum of 6 inpatient echoes or 4 echoes and 2 stress echoes during Saturday call• Handle both inpatient and outpatient stress testing responsibilities• Work collaboratively with cardiologists who are present for dobutamine stress echocardiograms• Maintain patient care standards in both stress testing and echo lab environmentsFacility:This medical center features a comprehensive Heart and Vascular Institute that houses both stress testing and echo lab services.
