Lamination Helper Cary, IL Our client is a a family owned and operated company serving the Diagnostic, Pharmaceutical and Healthcare packaging industry since 1984. The lamination helper is responsible in supporting the lamination machine operator. Schedule: 12hrs daily shifts! Payrate: ($20-$26) Pay is based on experience. Must Haves 2+ year previous complex auto mechanical experience (taking cars apart, replacing engines or transmissions, etc) OR, Coating Machine, Lamination Machine or Extrusion Machine experience required Ability to read and interpret measurements up to a 16th of an inch using a Ruler/Tape Measure Ability to lift up to 65 lbs; push, pull, maneuver very large rolls of materials weighing several hundred pounds with the use of equipment on a daily basis. Must be able to squat, bend, crouch, and kneel, and you will be on your feet for most of your shift. Must be able to tolerate chemicals and occasional strong odors. Assist the Lamination Operator in: Installing roll stock ensuring the correct side is loaded to receive adhesive and ensure the rolls are properly aligned side to side Mixing adhesives as required ensuring formulas are mixed according to specifications Performing viscosity checks and recording results every half hour Removing full rolls when directed by operator Monitoring startup of every roll to ensure closure Notifying the operator immediately of any problems Performing housekeeping chores as directed by operator Additional Qualifications: Must pass a background check Must pass a drug test Please call 847-742-0224 for additional information For more job listings and benefits, please visit: https://www.sourceonestaff.com/open-positions Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour Benefits: Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Experience: Machine operation: 1 year (Required) Coating: 1 year (Required) Work Location: In person
