This position oversees all aspects of mine planning, production, and quality control to ensure efficient, sustainable, and safe operations with Mulzer Company.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute comprehensive production plans (short, medium, and long-term) to optimize operations and support production goalsParticipate in development and execution of Capital Improvement projects including resource management, project planning, financial planning and reportingSchedule and manage production activities such as Drilling and Blasting, Material Haulage and Plant operationsUtilize software for projects including mine planning, production planning, process improvements and capital investmentsPromote the integration of technology and innovative engineering practices to improve cost efficiency, safety, and environmental sustainabilityMonitor and analyze daily production reports, collaborating with quality control teams to address and resolve stone quality issuesOversee daily production operations, ensuring resources are available to meet production schedules without delaysPlans and coordinates activities of personnelDirect and train employees on new tasks and operational procedures, fostering a culture of safety and professional developmentSupervise contractors to ensure adherence to safety and performance standardsAssist with MSHA inspections QualificationsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.Education and Experience: Bachelor's or associate degree in engineering, manufacturing or equivalent preferred; or two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Proficient with MS Office product suite and experience with CAD preferred.Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively to customers or employees of organization.Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
