Process Engineer

The Process Engineer is responsible for planning, developing, and optimizing manufacturing processes for new product lines at our Kansas facility. This role ensures efficient, cost-effective, and high-quality production through process design, continuous improvement, and cross-functional collaboration.***Initial international travel to Spain for an extended period of time. Passport and US Citizenship required***Key ResponsibilitiesLead and support manufacturing process development and industrialization for new and existing productsEvaluate product designs (drawings, 3D models, electrical schematics, BOMs) to ensure manufacturability and automation readinessDevelop and maintain production documentation, including work instructions, routings, and process reportsDesign, implement, and improve manufacturing processes and workflows to meet quality, cost, and delivery targetsMonitor and control process performance and KPIs, ensuring operations stay within defined parametersIdentify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and reduce wasteCollaborate with Quality, Engineering, and Production teams to ensure compliance with product specificationsAnalyze production costs and recommend strategies to meet budget targetsSupport make vs. buy decisions and production planning scenariosDefine and standardize production equipment and tooling requirementsContribute to facility layout planning for new and expanded operationsAssist with supplier coordination, including RFQs, purchasing support, and quality follow-upSupport project planning by estimating industrialization costs and resourcesQualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, or related field)Experience in manufacturing/process engineering or industrializationStrong understanding of automated manufacturing systems and process optimizationAbility to read and interpret technical documentation (CAD drawings, schematics, BOMs)Experience with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies preferredStrong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skillsSpanish language proficiency preferredWork Environment & Requirements100% on-site roleDomestic and international travel requiredAbility to work in a manufacturing/industrial environment
